T-Mobile Could Launch the the HTC HD2, Motorola Zeppelin Next Month

A roadmap of upcoming products has leaked out of T-Mobile USA, showing its plans to introduce several new models in March.

This document supposedly lists all the phones this carrier is going to release in the first three months of this year. According to it, no more are planned for the rest of February. March, however, will apparently be much busier.

T-Mobile Q1 2010 RoadmapFirst on the docket for this month will be the Motorola Cliq XT, an affordable Android OS device better known by its code-name of Zeppelin. This will reportedly launch on Wednesday, March 10.

This will be followed a week later by the the Nokia Nuron,  a Symbian-powered smartphone.

A week after that will allegedly be the release of the eagerly awaited HTC HD2, a very high end Windows phone.

More on the Motorola Cliq XT
Reports of the Motorola Zeppelin have come out before, but this is the first time its shipping name has been revealed: Cliq XT.

Like the Motorola Cliq that's already in T-Mobile's lineup, this upcoming model will supposedly be an Android OS 1.5-based smartphone with MotoBlur, a social networking suite of software.

Like its sister model, the Cliq XT will have a 3.2-inch HVGA (320 by 240 pixel) touchscreen, but this one will use a tablet shape without a hardware keyboard.

It is expected to be relatively inexpensive, though its exact price is not yet known..

More on the Nokia Nuron
According to unconfirmed reports, the Nuron will be a version of the Nokia 5230, which runs Symbian S60 5th Edition. If this is correct, this model will have a tablet design centered on its 3.2-inch, 640-by-360-pixel touchscreen.

It will have a focus on entertainment, but also sport Nokia's standard suite of productivity applications, too. In addition, users will have access to Nokia's Ovi suite of online services.

More on the HTC HD2
Unlike these other two models, T-Mobile USA has made no secret of its plans to offer the HTC HD2. It has even released the exact specifications of its version. All it has been reticent about is the exact release date, just saying the launch will be in the Spring.

This smartphone will run Windows Mobile 6.5 on a 1 GHz processor, and sport a 4.3-inch WVGA capacitive display with multi-touch support. It will come with a 16 GB microSD memory card and a 5 MPx camera.

Although pricing information has not yet been revealed, this high-end device is expected to come with a high-end pricetag.

Much in Common
Despite their disparate operating systems, these three smartphones will have many similarities.

For example, all will have support for T-Mobile 3G mobile broadband network and Bluetooth. While the Nuron will apparently lack Wi-Fi, the other two models will include it.
