LG Aloha May Sport the Android OS Plus a Large Screen and Keyboard

LG is reportedly working on its first high-end smartphone running Google's Android OS. Many details remain unknown, but the LG Aloha will supposedly have a WVGA screen and a physical keyboard, as well as 3G and Wi-Fi.

The LG Aloha itself is more than a rumor, as the Wi-Fi Alliance recently certified a model by this name with the designation LG-C710. This phone will sport Wi-Fi b/g and well as 802.11n, the newest form of Wi-Fi.

At this point, only an unconfirmed report indicates that the Aloha will run the Android OS and include an 800x480 pixel Touchscreen and a QWERTY keyboard. It will supposedly be a GSM phone with HSPA 3G. All other specifications remain unknown.

LG has already launched one model running Google's operating system in Europe and announced another, but neither of these have been high-end models, so the Aloha will apparently be its first.

The source for the unconfirmed report did not known when this LG smartphone is going to be released. It is supposedly headed for Europe, as this company's other two Android-based models have done.
