The HTC EVO 4G just debuted this weekend, and Sprint has already released an update for the system software that fixes a problem with accessing the microSD memory card.
Early users of this Android OS smartphone reported getting an error message after taking a picture or when attempting to access the microSD card.
A system software update to fix this problem is available by going to Settings > System Updates > HTC software update on the device, and then following the instructions.
Those purchasing a new EVO 4G will be prompted to install this update as part of the setup process.
Overview of the HTC EVO 4G
The HTC EVO 4G is the first smartphone available in the U.S. with WiMAX. This very high-end model also a 4.3-inch touchscreen, a slim tablet shape, and 1 GHz Snapdragon processor.
It runs Google's Android OS, and has HTC Sense, this company's alternate user interface that expands on Google's standard one.
It is available exclusively from Sprint.
