Apple iPhone users can finally access Hulu's streaming TV service thanks to a new application.
The good news is that this lets users watch far more TV shows than Hulu's website does; the bad news is that Hulu Plus costs $10 a month to use.
Hulu's free service offers a handful of recent episodes of many TV shows, but the new paid version offers the full season for virtually all of these shows. In addition, The Plus version offers back seasons or full runs of some of some shows, like the The X-Files and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
This software is also available for other iOS-based devices, including the iPod touch and iPad. With devices like the Apple iPad, native HD content is streamed in 720p high definition.
Pricing and Availability
Hulu Plus is available now in the on-device App Store. it is currently free, but will eventually cost $9.99 a month to use.
This app runs on the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, third-generation iPod Touch, and iPad.
Hulu has also promised to release versions of this software for other types of devices, but didn't get into specifics.
