Although T-Mobile USA has not yet officially announced plans to offer the BlackBerry Curve 9300, unconfirmed reports say this smartphone will soon replace the BlackBerry Curve 8520 in the carrier's lineup.
The Curve 8520 was one of the last models released by T-Mobile without support for its 3G network. It appears the main reason for releasing the Curve 9300 is to bring in a model with 3G, as otherwise these two will be practically identical.
An exact set of specifications for this device has not yet leaked out, but early reports say the Curve 9300 is going to run BlackBerry OS 5.0, like its predecessor, and have the same screen, keyboard, trackpad, media buttons, and camera as the current model.
It will supposedly include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a GPS receiver.
Availability?
It is not yet known exactly when T-Mobile is going to introduce the BlackBerry Curve 9300, other than it's likely to be soon.
Pricing for this smartphone is not yet known -- its predecessor is currently going for just $50 with contract, but debuted for $130 with contract last summer.
