Graffiti Text Input System Jumps from Palm OS to Android OS

Access has released a version of the Graffiti text input system for devices running Google's Android OS. Long-time Palm OS users should remember Graffiti from the days of the Palm TX or Tungsten E.

With Graffiti, users can input letters, numbers and characters by sliding their fingers on the touchscreen.

The app features a guide to teach users use the Graffiti strokes -- a necessity as this text-input system uses simplified versions of letters, numbers, and symbols to make entry faster.

Palm OS users from many years ago might be pleased to hear that this is classic Graffiti, not Graffiti 2.
