The Dell Thunder is one of a group of upcoming Android OS-based smartphones from Dell. Word of it first leaked out in the spring, and now a series of pictures of a prototype unit have appeared on the Web.
This high-end model will have a tablet shape and a 4.1-inch, AM-OLED display with an 800 x 480 resolution.
The Dell Thunder will supposedly run Google's Android OS 2.1 with a custom user interface created by Dell on top.
The source for the prototype image reports that it will have an 8 megapixel camera with an LED flash and support for recording 720p video.
This smartphone will supposedly have full support for AT&T's network, as well as Wi-Fi.
The remaining specifications on this smartphone remain unknown.
Coming this Year
The Dell Thunder is reportedly going to be released in the fourth quarter of this year.
Pricing information has yet to leak out.
