After over a month of being out of stock, Sprint recently got in a new shipment of the HTC EVO 4G... a shipment that sold out very quickly. Still, the online retailer Wirefly still has this high-end Android OS smartphone with WiMAX in stock.
Consumers have been drawn to the EVO 4G's cutting-edge feature set, including a very large, high-resolution touchscreen, fast processor, video chatting, and 4G cellular-wireless networking.
Wirefly is going to make customers jump through a few hoops to get one of its few units of this highly-sought-after smartphone. To place an order, it will be necessary to be a "friend" of this retailer on the social networking site Facebook.
Those attempting to purchase this product from Sprint's own website get this message:
"This device is currently sold out online. Some Sprint Stores do have it and we're regularly receiving more."
