Dropbox for BlackBerry Released, Versions for iPhone and Android OS Updated

Dropbox is an online file storage service. An app that gives BlackBerry users access has just been released, and the versions for devices running Apple iOS and Google Android OS have been updated. 

This service provides 2 GB of storage for free, 50 GB of capacity is $9.99 a month or $99 a year, while an account with 100 GB is $19.99 a month or $199 a year.

All the software required to use it is free, though. This includes the new Dropbox for BlackBerry app, which is available now at dropbox.com/anywhere.

Updated Versions
With new iOS version of Dropbox,  iPhone and iPad users have access to automatic offline caching for recently accessed files, support for HD video and high-resolution photo capture,  a new home screen and progress display, full screen landscape document viewing on iPad, and the support for multitasking is iOS 4 to allow files to upload or download in the background.

Dropbox for Android now includes support for photo galleries and multi-photo upload, ability to automatically send files to Dropbox from other apps, progress bar and notifications for file transfers, and other new features and fixes.

The iOS version can be found in the Apple App Store, while the Android OS one is on Google's software store.

To make it easier for consumers to find and evaluate the over 100 third-party applications that are built with the Dropbox API, there is a new Dropbox partner app directory now available at dropbox.com/apps.
