Hulu's streaming TV service for the iPhone and iPad has just become a bit more affordable: its price has dropped from $10 a month to $8 a month.

A subscription-based app -- Hulu Plus -- for the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad was released a few months ago that offers a selection of new TV shows as well as whole seasons of many classic shows. A complete listing of what's available can be found on the Hulu website.
The 20% cut in the monthly price for this service is clearly intended to boost interest. There were complaints that $10 a month was too much given Hulu Plus' weak selection of new show.
Availability
Hulu Plus is available now in the on-device App Store.
This app runs on the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, third-generation iPod Touch, and iPad.
Hulu has also promised to release versions of this software for other types of devices, but has not yet done so.
