Amazon.com is having a massive sale on most Verizon Wireless smartphones, reducing the price of large number of Android OS and BlackBerry models to to just a penny.
However, the only customers who qualify for this very low price are those who are switching to Verizon when purchasing a smartphone, not current Verizon subscribers.
Models in this Sale
One of the most notable devices available from Amazon.com for just one cent is the Motorola Droid Pro, which just debuted yesterday. This model is currently backordered, though.
Also included are some of the most popular high-end Android OS models of this summer, like the HTC Droid Incredible and Motorola Droid X. All of Verizon's other Android OS models are part of this sale, too.
And the deals go beyond Google's operating system -- Amazon is asking just a penny for the BlackBerry Bold 9650 and BlackBerry Curve 9330, as well as last year's BlackBerry Storm2.
The Palm Pixi Plus is also part of Amazon.com's one-cent sale, and so are a wide array of Verizon's feature phones.
