The Growing Connection Between Large-Screen TVs and Internet-Enabled Devices
Take Our Survey!
The future of Internet-based television and entertainment in general may not just be hanging on your wall, but may lie in that PC across the room or even the smartphone in your pocket. More and more people are eschewing traditional cable and satellite connections for direct connections between Internet-enabled devices and high-definition large-screen TVs. It is the ‘perfect storm' of readily-available content, terrific presentation, and systems that let you email, IM and tweet to your heart's content -- all at the same time.
A number of dedicated systems have already been introduced that function as the hub of a powerful media network. Apple TV is one, slick example of the future of television and entertainment. It not only streams content to your wall-size flat screen, but can channel video and audio content to your iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.
All of this media activity has put a stronger spotlight on high-definition large-screen televisions and monitors as the ultimate output endpoints. We'd like to know what you're your thoughts on the PC-TV evolution, and invite you to take a few minutes to complete our survey. We'll share the results, so stay tuned!
