Black Friday is over, but the specials continue: Verizon Wireless is now offering a buy-one-get-one-free sale on three of its most popular Android OS smartphones: the Motorola Droid X, HTC Droid Incredible, and Motorola Droid 2 Global.
All of these are high-end models for business or personal use, and they all run the latest version of Google's mobile operating system. They have 3G, Wi-Fi, microSD memory card slots, and a range of other features.
The Motorola Droid X is Verizon's only smartphone with a a 4.3-inch WVGA (480 x 800) touchscreen. It costs $200.
The HTC Droid Incredible has a 3.7-inch WVGA (480 x 800) display, and sells for $150.
The Motorola Droid 2 Global also has a 3.7-inch WVGA touchscreen, and it also has a sliding keyboard. In addition, this model runs Android OS 2.2 on a 1.2 GHz processor, while the other two use 1.0 GHz chips.
Customers can buy any of these and get a second one for free. Doing so requires signing a two-year wireless service contract for both devices.
