Specifics about the long-rumored Samsung Vibrant 4G, a follow-up smartphone to T-Mobile's Samsung Vibrant, have finally begun to emerge.
Pictures of a document describing the upgraded version have leaked out, revealing many of its details, including that it will be a T-Mobile exclusive.
The Vibrant 4G will offer the fastest data connection available to T-Mobile customers, as it is the first smartphone from the wireless carrier to offer 21+ Mbps speeds on its HSPA+ network -- the 4G speeds on the T-Mobile myTouch 4G and the T-Mobile G2 are capped at 14.4 Mbps.
One of the other standout features of this upcoming Samsung model will be a front-facing camera, and it is going to come pre-loaded with Qik for video calls.
Other features will include a 4-inch, Super AMOLED touchscreen, Google Android OS 2.2 (Froyo), a 1 GHz processor, 16 GB of memory (expandable up to 32 GB), and a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera.
Pricing and availability details for the Samsung Vibrant 4G have yet to be disclosed.
