Motorola Droid Pro Gets a Small System Software Update

Verizon has introduced a maintenance update for the system software on the Motorola Droid Pro. This isn't an upgrade to Android OS 2.3, but instead fixes some bugs.

According to the official changelog, this update offers:

• Better audio on voice calls
• Improved stability and performance
• Global Mode no longer resets when connecting to a USB charger.
• Visual Voice Mail now detects airplane mode while Wi-Fi is active.

According to Verizon's support website, the Droid Pro software update can be manually installed by going to Settings > About phone >System updates > Download.

Users also have the option to wait for Verizon to send the update to this smartphone automatically. Users will be notified when their device has received the new system software and given the option to install it.
