Though images and specs of the Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 have already been leaked, a more official and detailed posting of the Android OS smartphone is now up on Samsung's Indonesian website, shedding a little more light on the entry-level device.
In addition to some high-quality photos of the device, the Galaxy Ace's 3.5-inch, 480 x 320 display has been confirmed by the Indonesian website, as well as its HSDPA-readiness and a 5-megapixel camera.
Also revealed are the upcoming smartphone's 800 MHz processor, microSD memory card slot, Bluetooth 2.1 and Wi-Fi b/g/n connectivity, and 1,350 mAh battery.
Look Familiar?
As previously noted, the Galaxy Ace -- which some have referred to as the Galaxy S Mini -- is going to adopt a similar appearance to the iPhone 4. Available with both black and white backs, the flat, rectangular shape with slightly rounded corners (and no keyboard) does share some design similarities to Apple's smartphone.
The Samsung Galaxy Ace, which will run Google Android OS 2.2, is expected to be fully revealed at the Mobile World Congress in February in Barcelona, Spain.
