CompGeeks has dropped their price on the MagicStor CompactFlash microdrive by $50. The tiny hard drive is priced at $200 plus shipping, which varies depending on location. I have to admit, having that much Storage would be tempting, even if it is worth more than my Axim itself. Search for GS1022C-N to find the drive.

MDM offers free 64 MB MP3 kit with purchase of Zire 71

If you purchase a Palm Zire 71 handheld between now and January 5, 2004, you can get a free "MP3 kit" from Mobile Digital Media by sending in a request by mail. The kit includes headphones, a 64 MB MultiMedia Card (MMC) containing MP3 player software and a selection of preselected promotional music and movie trailers, and a coupon to get another MDM software card for $5. Hardly a pressing reason to buy, but if you're interested in the Zire 71 anyway, a 64 MB expansion card is a nice bonus. Among the software titles eligible for the $5 offer are PalmPak Dictionary/Thesaurus card,  PalmPak Productivity Pak, and PalmPak Game Card: Rayman.
