The FCC has helped spill the beans once again, as a version of Nokia C7 for T-Mobile has now surfaced on the commission's website.
Unlike the one that's already on the market in some regions, the FCC has approved a new version of the C7 which will use T-Mobile USA's special version of 3G cellular-wireless connectivity.
Images, test reports, and even a user's manual for this model now appear on this government agency's website. The user manual makes specific mention of T-Mobile network.
An Overview of the Nokia C7
Previously only available in Europe, the Nokia C7 has yet to be announced as a smartphone available in the U.S., but the FCC filing makes it clear this is going to change soon.
The European model sports a 3.5-inch, nHD (640 x 360) capacitive touchscreen in a bar shape. It comes in a variety of colors: silver, black, and brown.
The C7 is powered by a 680 MHz processor and has 8 GBs of internal memory (expandable via a 32 GB-maximum microSD card slot). It runs the Symbian^3, and will be one of the last devices to do so before Nokia switches to using Microsoft Windows Phone on its high-end smartphones.
It features an 8-megapixel, rear-facing camera and a VGA-resolution front-facing camera for video calls.
Other features include Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi b/g/n connectivity, a GPS receiver, a 1200 mAh battery, and FM radio and transmitter.
When the Nokia C7 for T-Mobile USA will be officially announced is still unknown, along with its release date and pricing information.
