The Nokia Astound, the American version of the Nokia C7, has finally gotten an official reveal thanks to a press release sent out by T-Mobile today at CTIA.
Listed at an affordable price point, the Nokia Astound will be available to customers for $79.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and two year contract, as previously rumored. T-Mobile customers will be able to get their hands on the device starting on April 6.
The Astound, which is on display this week at CTIA, will be powered by a 680 MHz processor and will run the Symbian^3 OS.
Featuring 8 GB of internal storage (expandable up to 40 GB via a microSD card slot), the smartphone will sport a 3.5-inch capacitive touch AM-OLED display, as well as an 8-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash and 720p HD video capture.
Other features include a mini USB 2.0 port, FM tuner, Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS, and a 1200 mAh Li-Ion battery.
The Nokia Astound is currently available for pre-order through the Nokia website.
