Memorial Day sales are long tradition, and a number of retailers are offering special prices this weekend on a range of smartphones and accessories. This includes some of the latest devices, like the Samsung Droid Charge and Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY.
The online retail giant Amazon.com is having a sale on 19 models from all four of the top U.S. carriers. For example, Verizon's LG Revolution is selling for $150, AT&T's Samsung Infuse 4G is $130, Sprint's HTC Evo Shift 4G is going for $50, the T-Mobile G2x is $100, and the HP Veer 4G is $50. All of these prices require signing a two-year wireless service contract.
Phone retailer LetsTalk.com is having a 20%-off sale on Android-based smartphones from Verizon. Using the coupon code 7c7f3319 will drop the price of the Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY to $80, or the Motorola DROID X2 to $120 with contract.
Wirefly is having a Memorial Day sale in which some older models are available free with contract, including last year's Motorola Droid X from Verizon and T-Mobile's Motorola Cliq XT.
T-Mobile is having its own sale this weekend, with the BlackBerry Curve 3G, T-Mobile myTouch 4G, LG Optimus T, and other models available for free on this carrier's website.
Starting on Monday, ZAGG is offering 50% off on some of its accessories, like the ZAGGsparq battery and charger, as well as invisibleSHIELD screen protectors and more.
