Epson is trying to help iPhone users achieve harmony with their printers with the new Epson iPrint App for iOS. This software delivers a collection of mobile print options and functionality, and also lets users scan documents and print web pages.
If there are any readers who were considering buying an Epson all-in-one, but have just been waiting until it would be fully functional with their iPhone, well, that excuse is out the window. This release marks version 2.0 of Epson iPrint, with the most notable upgrade to this version being the added ability to print web pages using the app's built-in web browser.
Epson iPrint is compatible with a number of documents and file types, and aside from web pages can also print photos, email attachments, and files stored either locally on the device or in the cloud.
The app will also let users set a number of print options, including paper size, number of copies, and page range, and will let them check printer status and ink levels.
Availability and Compatibility
Version 2.0 of the Epson iPrint App for the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad is currently available for free in the App Store. It is compatible with devices running iOS 4.1 or better, and will work with printers from Epson’s Artisan, Stylus, and Workforce all-in-one lines.
