After first debuting on T-Mobile's website back on July 19, the myTouch 4G Slide from HTC is now available at T-Mobile retail stores.
Customers can purchase the camera-centric smartphone online or in-stores for $199.99 after a $50 mail-in-rebate and with a two-year contract. T-Mobile is emphasizing the phone's ability to take panoramic shots with its 8MP camera with dual LED flash, offering zero shutter lag. The Slide also provides users with the ability to edit videos directly on the device.
The myTouch 4G Slide runs Android OS 2.3, aka Gingerbread, with the HTC Sense UI and supports T-Mobile's 4G HSPA+ network. The device comes preloaded with various mobile applications from Google, including a multimedia player and email software.
The device is also powered by a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon processor and sports a 3.7-inch WVGA (800 x 480) touchscreen, accompanied by a sliding QWERTY keyboard.
