T-Mobile will launch two dual-core phones to run on the carrier’s 4G HSPA+ network on October 26, according to a leaked document.
The two Android smartphones, the Samsung Hercules and the HTC Ruby, will be among the most powerful handsets T-Mobile offers to date. And though prices have not been set at this time, it can be expected that the high-end handsets will probably range from $200 to $250 with a two-year contract.
The Hercules, a variation of the popular Samsung Galaxy S II, will sport a 4.5-inch screen with a vibrant Super AMOLED Plus display. The handset is going to come equipped with a dual-core processor and an 8MP camera with HD video recording capabilities. Originally rumored for a late September launch, the Hercules will now be released on October 26.
The HTC Ruby will also debut on that day. This smartphone is essentially the offspring of the HTC Sensation and the T-Mobile MyTouch Slide 4G. The Ruby is going to feature a 4.3-inch qHD (960 x 540) resolution LCD display, an 8MP camera sensor and a dual-core processor. Combining the high-end features of the Sensation and the cutting-edge camera experience from the MyTouch Slide, the Ruby will offer a handset with a high resolution display and a quality camera.
While T-Mobile has kept hush about more details regarding the two high end smartphones, we expect the carrier will show off the Hercules at Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S II event. With months to go until the October release, Brighthand will keep you posted on any budding details.
