UPDATE: This sale was for Saturday only, and is therefore now over.
T-Mobile is cleaning out its inventory by having a one-day in-store sale today where no smartphone costs more than $100.
Though customers must sign up for a two-year contract and will only receive the price reduction after a mail-in rebate, T-Mobile is offering its 4G handset and tablets at significantly discounted prices. Some of the most impressive smartphones that received a price cut are: the latest BlackBerry Bold 9900, which usually sells for $300, costs $100 after a $150 rebate; the HTC Sensation 4G, which also retails at a new $100 price tag; and the myTouch 4G Slide, a camera-lover’s phone that now costs $80.
Some of the other smartphones included in the sale are the Samsung Exhibit 4G, the Sidekick 4G, the Samsung Gravity Smart, the HTC Wildfire S, the LG Optimus T, the Samsung Galaxy S and the BlackBerry Curve 9300.
For new subscribers, the carrier’s cheapest Value plan package includes 500 minutes of voice, unlimited text and 200MB of data for $45 per month, on T-Mobile’s 4G/HSPA+ network.
