Images Reveal AT&T's Samsung Focus S and Focus Flash

Last month AT&T pre-announced two upcoming Samsung smartphones, the Samsung Focus S and Focus Flash. While the carrier was carefree enough to share the specs of these handsets, which are both follow-ups to last year’s Samsung Focus, AT&T did not release any pictures of the devices... until now.

Windows Phone President Andy Lees unveiled the AT&T-bound smartphones, along with the HTC Titan, this morning at the All Things D Asia conference. While neither company revealed pricing or availability for the Samsung handsets, we still know what these devices will offer once launched.  

The Focus S will sport a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display and will pack a 1.4GHz processor. In addition, the handset will feature an 8MP rear-facing camera, as well as a 1.3 front-facing shooter. Though AT&T boasted 4G support as one of the best features of this device, the carrier neglected to specify whether the Focus S would run on its LTE or HSPA network.

Smaller than the Focus S, the Samsung Focus Flash will offer a 3.7-inch Super AMOLED screen. Expected to pack a 1.4GHz processor, the smartphone will also feature a 5MP rear-facing camera, in addition to an unspecified front-facing one.

AT&T did give a little hint to a launch date for the Focus S, saying it would be released this fall. The original Focus, as well as other compatible models, have already received the Windows Phone 7.5 upgrade, since the update rolled out in September.
