BlackBerry Torch 9810 Debuts from T-Mobile

T-Mobile has introduced its third smartphone from RIM this fall, the BlackBerry Torch 9810. This model has a sliding keyboard and a 3.2-inch touchscreen, as well as the latest version of RIM's operating system.

It runs BlackBerry OS 7 on a 1.2GHz processor, and features a 5MP camera with 720p video recording and LED Flash. It runs on T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network and, naturally, gives users access to BlackBerry Messaenger (BBM) and BlackBerry App World.  

This model is the followup to the Torch 9800, which was an AT&T exclusive. It's the first BlackBerry available from T-Mobile with a Touchscreen and sliding keyboard.

It is available today for $250 after a $50 mail-in-rebate It is $550 without a contract.

Other New BlackBerrys
T-Mobile has been one of the strongest supporters of RIM's latest series of handsets. In addition to the Torch 9810 it has introduced the BlackBerry Curve 9360, and entry-level offering, as well as the most powerful (and expensive) BlackBerry Bold 9900.
