Samsung Exhibit II 4G Launches Tomorrow at Walmart

T-Mobile has just announced the Samsung Exhibit II 4G, an Android-based smartphone which will be available starting tomorrow, Oct. 27. The device, a follow up to the original Exhibit 4G that launched in June, will offer a larger screen and faster processor than its predecessor, and at a lower price.

The Android OS 2.3 (Gingerbread)-powered Exhibit II will sport a 3.7-inch WVGA Touchscreen and will pack a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Equipped with a 3MP rear-facing camera and a front-facing VGA camera, the Samsung smartphone will support Wi-Fi-, GPS, Bluetooth, T-Mobile TV and Samsung Media Hub. It will be offered in a marine blue color. 

The Exhibit II will be available at most Walmart locations starting tomorrow, with T-Mobile set to offer the handset directly on Nov. 2. Running on the carrier’s 4G HSPA+ network, the Exhibit II will retail for $30, after a $50 mail-in rebate, with a two-year contract. T-Mobile is branding this latest device as its first no annual contract 4G smartphone, offering the smartphone for $200 at Walmart.
