The HTC Radar 4G wasn't scheduled to launch from T-Mobile until Wednesday, but it's available now on this carrier's website. The device runs Windows Phone 7.5, the latest version of Microsoft's mobile operating system.
The smartphone includes a 3.8-inch WVGA (800 x 480) touchscreen, the maximum resolution supported by this OS. Below this is the default set of buttons.
The Radar 4G uses a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and has 8GB of storage capacity. It does not include a memory card slot, but it comes with a suite of software from Microsoft, including apps like Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer 9.
This is the first Windows Phone 7 that is able to access T-Mobile's 4G HSPA+ network. The mid-range device also features a 5MP camera with LED flash, as well as a VGA front-facing shooter.
Pricing & Availability
The HTC Radar 4G sells for $100 with a $50 mail-in rebate and a two-year contract. It is $400 without a contract. It will be available in T-Mobile stores on Wednesday, November 2.
