T-Mobile has updated its Facebook page to let us know a few more details about its latest additions to the myTouch collection of consumer-oriented smartphones.
The mid-range myTouch and myTouch Q, both designed and built by LG, will become available tomorrow, Nov. 2, via T-Mobile’s website, though the smartphones won’t hit stores until Nov. 9. Each will cost $80 after a $50 mail-in-rebate, with a two-year service agreement and data plan.
Previously T-Mobile released all the specs of these Android smartphones, yet left us wondering about prices and availability. The my Touch Q will sport a 3.5-inch LCD display on an Android Gingerbread platform. The device will feature a QWERTY slider keyboard, which will include a Genius button that activates T-Mobile’s voice command system. In addition to a 5MP rear-facing camera, the myTouch Q will pack a single-core 1GHz Qualcomm chipset.
Despite already labeling a smartphone with the myTouch moniker in 2009, T-Mobile will release another handset with the same name tomorrow. The handset will feature a 1GHz single-core processor and a 3.8-inch Touchscreen with a virtual keyboard equipped with Swype capabilities. The myTouch will also run Android 2.3 Gingerbread, though in addition to its 5MP rear-facing camera the smartphone will also have a front-facing shooter for video chatting needs.
Both phones will offer T-Mobile’s tips widget for a quick overview of available features. While the myTouch will be available in either black or white, the myTouch Q will be offered in either gray or violet.
