T-Mobile has just announced its latest BlackBerry offering, the Torch 9810.
The BlackBerry OS 7 smartphone will be available on Nov. 9 for $250 after a $50 mail-in-rebate. The phone dons both a Touchscreen and slide-out physical QWERTY keyboard, and will run on T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network. T-Mobile business customers will be invited to purchase the phone during an exclusive pre-sale beginning today, Nov. 2.
The Torch 8910, which was first unveiled in August when RIM announced its next lineup of BlackBerry devices, will sport a 3.2-inch display. Packing a 1.2GHz processor, the smartphone will feature a 5MP camera with LED flash and 720 HD video recording. Like its fellow BlackBerrys, the Torch 8910 will have access to BBM and BlackBerry App World.
AT&T released its version of the Torch 9810, featuring the same VGA screen, 8GB of built-in memory and 5MP camera, in late August. However, AT&T’s version sells for $50 with a two-year contract.
