It looks like the Galaxy S II from T-Mobile will be getting festive this holiday season, as the carrier just announced the super smartphone will soon be offered in a white design. Previously, black was the only option.
Though T-Mobile hasn’t announced any additional details, we do know the white Samsung smartphone will offer the same specs as the current version. Just a quick recap, that device packs a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and sports a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen. Running Android OS 2.3.5, the Galaxy S II features dual cameras, including a rear-facing 8MP shooter, like the one on many recent cutting-edge handsets. Equipped with support for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, the phone offers an optional HDMI output.
While Brighthand's reviewer for this model thought the phone provided a great battery life and fast performance, its large size was almost too much to fit into a pocket. Be sure to check out our full review of the Samsung Galaxy S II from T-Mobile to help decide if this smartphone is right for you.
The current Galaxy S II is available from T-Mobile for $230 with a new two-year service contract and a $50 mail-in rebate. We’ll keep you posted on when the white variant of this smartphone hits shelves.
