With Nokia remaining mum on details regarding its upcoming flagship devices, it looks like the Lumia 900 will be the one of the first Windows smartphone to launch from the company in early 2012, according to a new report.
The Lumia 900 will supposedly feature similar qualities to the Lumia 800, except for a larger display and several enhancements: a 4.3-inch ClearBlack AMOLED screen and will pack a 1.4GHz processor.
Additionally, the handset reportedly will feature an 8MP camera, and will ship with Windows Phone "Tango". This is a minor update for Windows Phone 7.5 "Mango".
According to the same source, Nokia is planning an elaborate attack on the U.S. mobile market in January and February, which could mean the company’s new flagship Windows Phone may launch sometime after CES.
Earlier this month, a promotional video from Nokia may have given the world its first glimpse of the Lumia 900. A screenshot from this, shown at left, reveals the basic design of this upcoming handset.
While other details of this smartphone are still unknown, earlier reports confirmed that both AT&T and T-Mobile were interested in offering Nokia’s new products.
