StyleTap iOS Wrapper SDK Turns Palm OS Apps into iPhone Apps

In the days when Palm OS was the top mobile platform, thousands of apps were written for it. Now, Palm OS is almost forgotten and the iPhone is hugely popular. Developers can use a new software development kit from StyleTap to turn their old Palm OS apps into ones that will run on the iPhone.

The company released StyleTap Platform for iPhone years ago. This allows Apple smartphones to directly run Palm software, but it is blocked from appearing in the iTunes App store. So they kept looking for another option.

Palm OS application developers use the StyleTap iOS Wrapper SDK to bundle StyleTap and their Palm app into an iOS app that can be run on standard non-jailbroken devices. If generated properly, the resulting iOS software is suitable to be submitted to Apple's App Store.
