The fact that T-Mobile is going to unveil a version of the Nokia Lumia 710 is an open secret at this point. Now, an image of the device in question has leaked out.
Nothing amazing is revealed by the image, other than that, the U.S. version of this smartphone is apparently going to look just like the one that debuted last week in other parts of the world, but with the T-Mobile USA logo on it.
Earlier evidence that this Windows Phone is on its way to the U.S. came from the FCC, which published the Lumia 710's manual with an image of the device bearing the T-Mobile logo. In addition, various news sources, including the Wall Street Journal, have reported that the carrier is going to introduce this Nokia handset.
T-Mobile's announcement of this Windows Phone is expected to happen on Wednesday eventing -- that's when the carrier and Nokia have invited journalists to an event.
The Lumia 710 runs Microsoft's Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) and packs a 1.4GHz processor. It also sports a 3.7-inch WVGA touchscreen and features a 5MP rear camera and 8GB of internal storage.
T-Mobile's version will reportedly be available in both black and white, with multiple colored backplates. Its U.S. price has not yet leaked out, but Nokia is positioning it as a mid-range phone.
