The rumors are true; the Samsung Galaxy Note will be coming exclusively to AT&T. The hybrid phone/tablet device was unveiled today at CES 2012, and will be bringing a new category of smartphones to the United States market.
The 5.3-inch Galaxy Note will come with HD Super AMOLED technology (1280x800 pixels), a 1.4 GHz Dual Core Processor, an 8MP rear-view camera, a 2MP front-view camera, 16 GB of internal memory, and will run Android Gingerbread 2.3. The device will also contain a microSD hub for extra storage.
The Galaxy Note will include the S Pen, a stylus-like technology which Samsung claims will deliver precise control much like a pen and paper.
Google Mobile services will be included in the phone, as well as the Android Market.
Customers will be able to select from two colors of the Galaxy Note when it is released: carbon blue and white.
Samsung and AT&T have yet to say what the release date or the price of the tabletphone will be. We will keep you updated whenever these details are announced.
