HTC introduced an LTE-equipped sibling to its Titan smartphone at CES today, giving it the clever moniker of the Titan II.
Running on AT&T’s 4G LTE network, the Titan II will offer faster speeds than its brethren, in addition to a rear-facing camera capable of capturing 16 megapixels, which is double what we’ve currently been seeing on most high-end smarthphones, like the iPhone 4S.
The device will sport the same build of the original Titan, measuring in at 5.2 inches by 2.7 inches by 0.4 inches. Equipped with a 4.7-inch WVGA Super-LCD display, the Titan II will be powered by Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango).
Additionally, the smartphone will feature a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, which can support 720p HD video recording, and a 1,730mAh lithium ion battery. Packing a 1.5GHz Snapdragon 2 processor, the Titan II will include 16GB of internal flash memory.
AT&T launched the Titan last year, with the smartphone being one of the first with Windows Phone 7.5. The handset currently retails for $200 with a new two-year contract at the carrier. HTC neglected to mention pricing or availability for the Titan II, but check back as we will have some hands on time with this device and more at CES 2012.
