At the Nokia press conference at CES earlier this week, the company kept quiet about the release date of the Lumia 900. Now, however, Nokia has announced in its developer blog that the smartphone will be released in early spring.
When it debuts in March, the Nokia Lumia 900 will be the first Windows Phone with support for AT&T's 4G LTE network. The phone is going to have a 4.3-inch ClearBlack AMOLED display with an 800 x 480 (WVGA) resolution. It will also run the latest Microsoft mobile operating system on a 1.4GHz single-core processor.
The Lumia 900 will contain up to 14.5GB of mass memory, and will feature an 1830 mAH battery that should give customers a generous amount of usage between charges. They will also be able to use an 8MP rear-facing camera with Carl Zeiss optics and a 1MP front-facing camera for videoconferencing.
Nokia will release the smartphone in two colors: black and cyan. The company has yet to announce the price of the phone. Brighthand.com will report the price when it is released.
