The super-slim Motorola Droid RAZR debuted in November at $300 with a two-year contract. A new version of this Android smartphone with less storage capacity will soon be available at a significantly lower price.
The version that debuted in November for $300 with contract has 32GB of storage capacity (16GB built in, 16GB microSD card), and is still available. Starting on Monday, those who would like a cheaper option will be able get a one with 16GB of built-in storage and no microSD memory card for $200 with contract.
Aside from the change in memory card -- and the price of course -- there are no differences between these two versions.
The Droid RAZR 16GB in black, white, and purple will be available for $200 in Verizon Wireless stores and this carrier's website on Jan. 23. The 32GB version is available now.
