We only just got our hands on the Nokia Lumia 900 Windows Phone at CES earlier this month, and it's not even due out until spring, but that hasn't stopped the rumor mill from churning. An unconfirmed report claims that a previously unheard of model, the Lumia 910, will arrive in May in the U.K.
Yesterday, a rumor surfaced that the Lumia 900 is going to be released in the U.K. in June. However, Mobile-Review.com's Eldar Murtazin, who is more than prone to making predictions regarding technology, tweeted "Who needs lumia 900 in june if they want to launch lumia 910 (12mpx) in may? Europe".
He offered no insight as to how he acquired this insider information -- after all, nobody had heard of the Lumia 910 prior to this revelation -- and gave no specs other than the fact that it will sport a 12-megapixel camera. It's possible it will have much in common with the Lumia 900, a device which will sport a 4.3-inch ClearBlack AMOLED display with an 800 x 480 (WVGA) resolution. It will run Windows Phone 7.5 on a 1.4GHz single-core processor.
If Murtazin's claims are indeed true, it probably won't be long until we get official word from Nokia about the Lumia 910, since its supposed UK release is only a few months away.
