A device previously called the HTC Edge has supposedly received a name change. The specs for this smartphone have also leaked out, including its quad-core processor.
This model -- whether it ends up being the Edge, the Endeavor or the Supreme -- will reportedly be well supplied with cutting-edge features, including running Android OS 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) on a 1.5GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor with 1GB or RAM. HTC Sense 4.0 will be layered on top.
It will apparently be one of a number of upcoming smartphones with quad-core chips. The Samsung Galaxy S III will allegedly have one, and so will the Apple iPhone 5.
More Details
If the unconfirmed reports about the HTC Edge/Endeavor/Supreme turn out to be correct, it will have a 4.7-inch, 1280 x 720 touchscreen. The device is expected to have an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera, plus a 1.3 megapixel front-facing one.
It's not clear yet whether this handset will have some form of 4G, but it's not unlikely. It will supposedly sport Wi-Fi a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0.
HTC has scheduled a press event for February 26. The HTC Edge/Endeavor/Supreme could be one of the stars of this show.
This isn't the only model from this company to appear in rumors recently. Some pictures and specs of the HTC Droid Incredible 3 leaked out a few days ago.
