Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G Now in T-Mobile Brick-and-Mortar Stores

The newest smartphone from T-Mobile is the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G, a mid-range model running Google Android. This has likely been released to give customers a similar but cheaper alternative to the Samsung Galaxy S II.

It is launching today, but only in this wireless operartor's retail stores -- it won't be listed on T-Mobile's website for another week.  The price is $150 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a new two-year contract.

A Mid-Range Set of Features
Although not as powerful as some rival devices, the Blaze is no slouch. It runs Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) on a dual-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. It does not include a significant amount of internal storage, but does have a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB cards.

This Samsung model's Super AMOLED touchscreen is just a hair under 4-inches. The handset supports 4G HSPA+, as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. Other features include a 5 megapixel camera with 720p video, as well as a 1750 mAh battery that T-Mobile says is good for up to 7 hours of talk time.
