Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S users can now update their smartphone's software to the latest iteration of Android Ice Cream Sandwich, version 4.0.4.
If you own a HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus or a GSM-capable Nexus S, you can get the update now through an OTA download. This update comes after Samsung originally pulled the Android 4.0.3 update for Nexus S in December.
The update, however, isn’t available for CDMA-capable handsets yet. There is no word on when the Verizon Galaxy Nexus or the Sprint Galaxy Nexus S 4G will be receiving the 4.0.4 update.
Google said the update will bring stability improvements, a smoother screen rotation, and better camera performance.
