Information is starting to leak out on what might be Verizon's next smartphone, the HTC Incredible 4G. This could be released before the end of this month.
The third model in this series will supposedly be the first to debut with Android OS 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), but it supposedly won't sport a cutting-edge feature set. Instead, it will apparently be a more mid-range device.
According to the latest unconfirmed report, the Incredible 4G will run the latest version of Google's operating system on a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of built-in storage, and a microSD memory card slot.
It will supposedly have a 960 x 540 (qHD) display that's about 4 inches in size. Other specs will include 4G LTE, an 8MP main camera, a VGA front-facing one, NFC, and support for Beats Audio.
A previous report indicated that the HTC Incredible 4G is going to be introduced on April 26. Its price has not yet leaked out.
The previous two models in the Incredible series have used the "Droid" branding -- it's quite possible this one will as well.
