Those who own the Motorola Droid RAZR, RAZR MAXX, or HTC Rezound smartphones from Verizon will be receiving the Android OS 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) upgrade by the end of May.
A user by the name of DroidTosser released snapshots of the internal Verizon document that showed the schedule for software updates and upgrades for a selection of phones on the website reddit.
According to the screenshot, the Ice Cream Sandwich updates for all three of the previously mentioned devices are in testing. The HTC Rezound will finish ICS testing on May 7 and this new software version may be available to be downloaded on May 9. The Droid RAZR and RAZR MAXX will complete their testing on May 17 and the upgrade may be released to the public on May 21.
The ICS update for the Motorola XOOM tablet should be released shortly. It will be sent out directly from Google itself.
Other smartphones will be receiving smaller system updates soon. Tweaks for for the Motorola Droid Bionic, HTC ThunderBolt, and the LG Revolution are all currently in testing.
