T-Mobile's version of the Samsung Galaxy S II is reportedly going to get an upgrade to the latest version of Android next month. Two models from HTC will be getting their upgrades in early summer.
This news comes from information leaking out of T-Mobile; this carrier has not officially announced that any of its current models that debuted with Android OS 2.3 (Gingerbread) will be bumped up to Android OS 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).
The Galaxy S II will supposedly be getting upgraded to the new version on May 15. This will bring updated versions of the bundled applications -- like a newer web browser.
A few weeks later, similar upgrades will be introduced for the HTC Sensation 4G and the HTC Amaze 4G. These are both allegedly scheduled for June 16.
