Verizon Unveils the HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE

HTC and Verizon Wireless decided to kick off International CTIA Wireless 2012 by unveiling the HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE smartphone.

Suited with the HTC Sense 4.0, the Droid Incredible 4G LTE will run Android OS 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and will operate on Verizon's 4G LTE network. The handset will also feature Beats Audio which provides a complete audio experience for users watching videos, listening to music, or playing games.

The smartphone will sport a 4-inch super LCD qHD display with Corning Gorilla Glass. It will also come with an 8MP rear-facing camera that has an autofocus feature as well as LCD flash. A front-facing one can also be used on the device for video chatting.

Internally, the Droid Incredible 4G LTE will run on a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor and 1GB of RAM. It will have support for up to 32GB of memory space with a microSD card. The handset will also come with a 1,700mAh lithium ion rechargeable battery.

Other features include NFC, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB, G-Sensor, a digital compass, and a proximity sensor.

Verizon has yet to say exactly when the HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE will be introduced, aside from "in the coming weeks." A price has also not be mentioned officially, but a slip-up by the company not too long ago revealed that this smartphone is going to cost $300 with a two-year contract.
