Today, Sprint announced the availability and pricing for the Sierra Wireless 4G LTE Tri-Fi Hotspot, its latest product to allow users to connect to the Internet with a variety of devices when on the go.
This is going to be the first-ever device to combine 4G connections over LTE or WiMAX networks. It will also provide customers with the ability to use the Sprint 3G CDMA network wherever they?d like.
Customers using the accessory will be able to give Internet access to up to eight Wi-Fi enabled devices simulaneously. Additionally, it will come with microSD slots that will allow multiple users to access files with ease.
Powered by a 3600mAh battery, the Hotspot is going to offer up to eight hours of use and up to eight weeks when on standby. It will also sport a display screen that provides pertinent information, including the hotspot name and access code, battery life, and the current connection.
Pricing and Availability
The Hotspot will be available on May 18 for $100 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a new two-year agreement.?
Sprint data plans for the Sierra Wireless 4G LTE Tri-Fi Hotspot are going to start at $35 for 3GB of combined 3G/4G data on the Sprint network. The 6GB plan will go for $50 and the 12GB of 3G/4G coverage will cost $79.99 a month.
