Sprint Offering $100 for Any iPhone Trade-in

Anyone interested in switching to Sprint for their iPhone service can bring in their current Apple smartphone and get at least $100 off the purchase of a new Apple iPhone 4S.

Trade-ins on phones aren't new or unusual, but Sprint is guaranteeing that an iPhone, no matter what the condition, is worth $100. Trade-ins on very old models can be less than that.

This deal is available in the carrier's stores or online.  Sprint says it is offering the deal for a limited time, but did not spesify how long.  It is available only to new Sprint customers.

Why Sprint?

The major advantage to Sprint is that it is the only U.S. wireless carrier to offer an unlimited data plan to new customers. This is truly unlimited, with no throttling. In addition, it came in first in the last American Customer Satisfaction Survey.

The downside is that Sprint tends to score near the bottom in data transfer speed tests.
