An array of HTC phones have been scheduled to receive the Android OS 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update by the end of the summer. Each carrier of the "Big Four" will have smartphones from this company that will be updated by the end of August.
AT&T subscribers who own the HTC Vivid should start receiving the latest version of Google's operating system by the end of June. This will be the only HTC model from this carrier getting the new version.
Users on the Verizon Wireless Network who own the ThunderBolt should start seeing the update starting in July and ending by August. Droid Incredible 2 owners are scheduled to receive the update sometime before the end of August. Both the Rezound and the Rhyme will be receiving the updates between June and July.
Sprint customers who own the HTC Evo 4G should receive Android OS 4.0 by the end of June. The EVO 3D and the EVO Design 4G will get it starting in June, with a complete roll-out scheduled for the end of July.
And rounding out the updates available for U.S. devices, T-Mobile customers who are also owners of the Amaze 4G and the Sensation 4G should start receive the new version before July.
Additional devices available outside the U.S. have been listed in the schedule. Any model not on that list will not be making the move to Android ICS.
