A selection of accessories for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus is currently available from Google Play.
The Google Play store is selling a vehicle dock, an HDMI portrait desktop dock, and a desktop dock for the handset, in a move that may signal Google's increasing involvement in direct sales of smartphones. This could also be a sign that there is some truth to the rumor that Google is prepping five more Nexus models to be released later this year and sold directly to the public.
More about these Accessories
The vehicle dock can be purchased for $54 and allows users to attach it on the dashboard or windshield for easy viewing. It also contains integrated charge pins to keep the device charging while in use. For $49, customers can pick up the HDMI portrait desktop dock to watch and stream content from their Galaxy Nexus onto a TV. Rounding out the accessories, the desktop dock will also sell for $54, allowing users to listen to music with its 3.5mm stereo audio port while keeping the phone charged.
Please note that these accessories are only for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus HSPA+ model, which is the only version currently being sold in Google Play.
